International Yacht Managment fractional ownership program allows multiple owners to have shared investment interest in a single yacht. This allows typically the same or greater average yearly usage. Typically a single owner must carry the hefty financial burden of maintaining a vessel all year round with only minimal usage. Fractional ownership allows you to save money by paying only for your share of the operating cost. The average yacht will have ten ownership shares available. Each yacht will have a professional crew necessary for the size of the vessel. These costs are part of the monthly budget.

International Yacht Managment will handle all of the operational, maintenance and financial aspects of yacht managment and charter managment. Our managment team will professionally and meticulously manage your yacht eliminating the unpleasant responsibilities of individual yacht ownership and assure appreciating value of the vessel.

For Example: You purchase a 10% share of a 2.1 million dollar yacht for $210,000. This one time purchase price entitles you to a guaranteed 4 weeks use per year, plus extra time on a 1st come 1st serve basis on time unclaimed by other owners. There will be several weeks set aside in the spring/fall for maintenance and deliveries. The annual operating expenses are shared among the fractional owners on a percentage of ownership basis. IYM will handle all the yacht managment and operations of the yacht. Each yacht will be set up as an LLC and have its own bank accounts for operating costs. The owners will receive monthly and yearly bank account statements. The owners will be responsible for all consumables during their charter.
